I have never owned a high end version of this card and I'm very excited to have it graded soon. What do yall think/grade? Thanks for your time. !

Great looking card. Because of some chipping on the left, I'll say PSA 8.
I think a 7 is possible. The chipping and print issue in the yellow area along with some other places will keep it at a 7. Nice looking card for sure. An 8 in that card would be great but extremely difficult to get. Good luck and post a follow up when you get it graded.
Here is another view of it.
Really nice card, love the design. Centering looks great. Good luck with the grade.
Seeing those views, I'm going to revise my prior post to say PSA 6 (PD). I hope I'm wrong though.
What JBrules said.
I think it gets an 8
I'm think a PSA 7, but a PSA 7.5 is not out of the question in my opinion.
Great looking card.
Good luck,

I have that card in an 8. By far my best football card in my collection. It's at the bank and I do have a picture somewhere around here, but can't find it right now. Yours is very nicely centered front and back. Better centering than mine on the back. This is a very difficult card to get graded an 8. It has I believe a pop 42 in an 8. Hasn't really changed much since I bought mine. I'd put a grade from a 6.5 or a 7. They are really strict on the border chipping and yours is really nice. Hope you get an 8. I'll try and find my picture to compare.
The centering on both the front and reverse are amazing. There are a few marks on the card in the yellow area. That, together with the wear on some of the corners, would make it tough to get into a "7" slab. My guess is a 6.5. Best of luck. No matter what the grade, the card presents very well.

Thanks for the replys. I like to see other people views of my card as to me I felt this was a slam dunk 8 but is is nice to see it from others eyes. And I am not a professional grader and I never guess right. The black boarders are for sure a tough issue to understand how to grade consistently.
I have never had a high end 62 brown and I only see 2 others on ebay in PSA 7nm form and I thought mine didnt show as much wear as them.
Examples. And they both have PD in the yellow.

This one even had th same ish PD in the yellow.

I havent sent it in yet but Im probably going to try and make the Jan special bulk on it before the end of the month.
I really like it and I think it could be argued as a 7, 7.5 or an 8. It's basically dead-on in centering; not sure how many out of a pack '62 Browns come across PSA's desks, but something crisp like that would be the only way to improve on this one. Good luck!
Great card! I would put it at a solid 7 probably due to the chipping on the left edge, but I could easily see that card in an 8 holder!
Looks like you got some other nice 62s there too?
Good luck
lbcoach20, That is a sweet looking 8. Have you ever thought about reviewing it to get an 8.5?
JBrules,
Thanks. I have, but the back is a tad oc. But as far as chipping goes, it is pretty clean.
That is one gorgeous sportscard. Never seen it before. The black design and the images on it are just beautiful.

I'd say 7 with an outside shot at 8. They are always brutal on vintage stars though.

I have seen all kinds of 8s in 62.
It could be an 8

LOL, Yeah happy to have it graded. Been sitting here raw for most of the year and finally got around to renewing my membership this month.
This brown came out of a complete set that I bought this year and I was worried I over paid when I saw yall say 6.5-7 on this one. I have 30-40 others at PSA from this as we speak. Paid 3500.00 for the set so the brown really helps.
To me that card should've had a .5 after the grade. Great card. Conrats.
Just an opinion, but I think they gave it a full point for the bump. It would be an awfully nice rise in value in an unheard of 8.5 but I think they already bumped the 7 to a full 8 with everything inclusive.
Congrats on getting a PSA 8 on the card.

handyman, congrats on landing an 8. That is a major score and I think you did great purchasing that set for the price you did. I am guessing that you have a lot more 7's and 8's other than the Brown which would make that set a really good purchase for you at 3500. The Brown alone is worth 2400+, Tarkenton in a PSA 8 = 3500+ PSA 7 = 500 and Unitas in a PSA 8 the last 2 sold for over 4K and PSA 7 = 400. Those 3 cards alone if Unitas and Tarkenton are both 7's pay for the set. Well done and thanks for sharing.
If you want to unload it, I have some beautiful Ryan Leaf rookies for trade.
My Jamarcus Russell Rcs are worth more

Well just got 2 PSA packages left at my door. Apparently my postman signed for me! UGHH.
Not to happy about that. But safe and sound now.
That is a violation for them to be "nice" and sign for you. I would be reporting it if I were receiving high dollar packages often enough. All you have to simply do is take your tracking in from the last one signed and have them pull up the signature and then say it is not yours and they will file a formal complaint and look into it.
