it is disguised as coming from our host...
it tells me that I have now earned the title of "Collector" and it carries a unwanted "payload"
I did not follow their instructions but it is well disguised!!!
P L E A S E be careful!!! what you click on !
before you open some strange email , click right and check the properties. It usually shows you the real return address which often is in suspect countries.
good luck
Today is the first day of the rest of my life

Thanks for the heads up.
PS, did you get my email about the No LCW half? It's in the quality you/your client may want. Give me a shout.

The PCGS website uses a Vanilla Forum platform and the email you received was to tell you that your "rank" on the PCGS boards was upgraded to that of collector. It was a real email.

Sorry if I over reacted. But I usually prefer to err on the side of caution..... at least I try. emails somtimes look really funny and authentic. when I saw Vanilla in the properties.. well, for me it was a no go.
Thanks TomB for clearing this up.
So, now I am a collector?
just wondering what my designation was for the other 49 years?
started in 1967 with Canada Silver dollars... just sort of hoarding them as the banks often had them for a Dollar.
I agree that it is neither the most transparent communication nor the most useful, but I believe all is okay with it. I have received them, too.
