I have a lot more proof sets than I need. With some personal issues going on, I figured this is a good time to sell all/some. I don't really have the time or energy to photograph 200+ sets. For the most part these are no problem sets. For the most part, these sets are in original envelopes with most having their inserts. There are probably a half dozen without envelopes, but I can't tell you which ones right now. Order what you like, and if any have problems I'll describe the issue(s) and we'll adjust as necessary. Shipping is free on any orders over $100, less than $100 add $3 for shipping. Price reflects payment by check or money order, add 3% for PayPal. The 1942 is on eBay if you want to take a look

    Hi Chumley,
Of the 15 sets, 10 have the envelopes, 2 cardboard inserts & the orange COA. 3 have envelopes & cardboard inserts, no coa. 1 with envelope & 1 cardboard insert, no coa. 1 with envelope only. If I knock off $5 for the missing pieces it would make it $265 (or $272.95 PayPal).
Let me know if this works for you. And I'll need your address.
    Thank you very much,
    Wes

Hi. Can you tell me the condition of the 53, 54, & 55 Box sets?

  • UtahCoinUtahCoin Posts: 5,345 ✭✭✭✭✭

    Hello,

Took me a while to dig out the sets.

1952 Proof Set. Original cellophane, a small piece of tape placed on the sides of a couple of sleeves to keep them from splitting. No haze or spots on any of the coins

1953 Proof Set. Original cellophane, no splits. No haze or spots, 25c has a lite cam

1954 #1 Proof Set. Cellophane is included, but is in poor condition. Coins were placed in 2x2's. No spots or haze.

1954 #2 Proof Set. Coins not in cellophane, but in the plastic sleeves normally associated with 1955 sets. 1c lite haze appears to be cam, 10c touch of rose obv toning, 25c lite cam, might grade as such. No spots or haze.

1955 #1 Proof Set. Original sleeves. 1c lite haze lite cam. Couple of very light toning spots (not black) on 10c & 25c. Rev of 50c very lite rose tone common on 1955's.

1955 #2 Proof Set. Original sleeves, re-stapled. No problem coins, no spots or haze.

I will take the 53 and 55 #2. Can you do the 5% back of bid on the 52 set?

Since you're buying the others, yes. If my math is correct, $403.75 check/mo. PayPal (+3%) $12.11 = $415.86

I received the set on Friday; very nice!! Thanks, Wes. BTW, I was able to remove the coins from the holder.

    justcollecting;
I am very sorry that I missed your messages. A lot of the emails I received didn't reference the forums user names. As a result, I had you lumped in with another forum user (which explains confusion on a sale to another forum member). I'm also still getting use to the new forum software pm functions. Please accept my apology, ignoring people is not the way I normally do business.

PM sent with prices you asked for.
