Can anyone id this card saver, no markings or name on it, It's not one of the Card Savers, it's more rigid.

That would be a top loader.

It's top loader, the horizontal ones are side loaders

  • That is Jim Fregosi who played Shortstop for the Angels on the left.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward if you can provide information that leads to the identification of this top loader wanted in connection with extorting protection dollars from an anonymous sports card collector.

    Appreciate today-

Eating breakfast this morning I figured out why I am 30lbs. overweight. While pouring my Raisin Bran I noticed if there are raisins right near the edge of the box about to come out it makes me continue to pour, which leads me to eating a bigger bowl. This theory works with any cereal that has treats in it, like Lucky Charms, Frankenberry, etc...

After zooming in and enhancing the photo, it appears that it is a Kardsaver 1.0, which was made in limited quantities in the Summer of '84. Only a few hundred are known to exist.

whoa! thanks mlbfan2!!! I got a few of those in a box at home. I'm gonna send them in with my next sub, I think they will grade out in a 9, maybe even Gem, depends on who is grading that day!!!

Wait a sec. So if that's a rare low pop Kardsaver 1.0, and I own one from an estate collection left to me by my grandfather who bootlegged llamas to the U.S. from Canada back in the Civil War days, should I just send it with my membership freebies or use the Overnight Express Service and speed up the process for an additional fee? Thanks in advance!

Anybody got a clue on how this rookie might grade out? Corners are a bit rounded, but hey, the centering is tops :)
