I won this PCGS MS64RB New Brunswick half cent at the Steve Album auction last night. I think they priced it as a one cent.

Great for you
Usually They have their pricing right "up there".
they also do not miss much.
easy a over $ 2000 coin. Perhaps more at the right auction.

Even if the estimate is wrong, are there not at least two knowledgeable collectors watching/tracking the auction that would know about this coin? Are the only bidders an expert and someone who probably just bid on the estimate?

Can't cry for them. They described it as a half cent and the pics leave no doubt. Many auction estimates are frequently quite a bit off anyway, and don't reflect the current market. This has nothing to do with this particular auction house but international auctions in general. This was a big auction with a lot of lots and probably it was just overlooked. Good pick up on your part.
I don't think the estimate being off really matters, no feeling guilty or almost guilty. The coin was properly described, photo'd, attributed etc. The estimate should not sway a knowledgeable bidder. Some auctions seem to place low estimates as a rule, maybe it makes a consigner happy when the estimate is exceeded? Good pick up! No one else wanted it that day.
