Tale of a coin and its various images ...
I pursued this Taler back in 2012 on the Stacks bidding platform and had the system crash on me mid-auction. Frustrating to say the least. Stacks has drastically enhanced their online bidding platform since which is a good thing. coinfactswiki.com/wiki/Austria_1618-CO_thaler_Dav-3324
I ended up buying this from a dealer on resale at a mark up and owned it for a few years. Dealer image:
Brg5658 was kind enough to image the coin for me:
A few years ago I found another specimen which had more luster and decided to keep it and sell this coin to a different dealer. I then see the coin show up again now on Heritage's non floor auction earlier in the week and last minute decided to pick it up again at an affordable price. I don't believe that Heritage's image adequately captures the Taler's eye appeal yet remembering the coin helped! Now I am back to the same dilemma - keep this one, the other or both!!

Keep it until you wake up one day and decide to sell. It's the kind of decision not to force.
Keep them both if you like that particular issue. Nothing wrong with having two great coins!
My excuse for keeping two of the same coin is that I want to show the obverse and the reverse. I guess if I have 3, I can also show the edge....
Too bad I've never shown my collection.
It's nice when a coin comes home, especially if the price you picked it up at again was lower than what you sold it for.

Yup, and there is a reason it this baby came back to you
I would keep it.
I remember this coin very well from in hand. The toning in the protected areas is superb, and I love the "texture" of the fields...congrats on the re-purchase of this coin.
