This lot is for one ROLL SET on 2009 Copper (Bronze) Lincoln Cents.
It includes Eight (8) rolls, One roll each mint (P+D) for each of the four designs.
In the congressional law that directed there to be commemorative cents in 2009, the mint was directed to make a portion in the original (Bronze) metal instead of the Copper plated zinc used for cents since 1982.
The mint accomplished this by using Bronze / Copper for the cents in the S mint proof cents and for the cents used in the 2009 mint set.
I broke apart 50 mint sets to build this roll set.
All the cents placed into circulation and sold by the mint in rolls are copper plated zinc and weigh 2.5 grams.
These weigh 3.1 grams.
Mintages for the "normal" P&D cents are in the hundreds of millions
These copper cents have a mintage of 784,614 each, making them lower mintage then 1914-D and 1931-S cents.
