I want to crossover a BVG 8 to PSA (Rest of my cards PSA) . Would you crack the case then submit or leave it in BVG case?
Anyone do this, does a BVG 8 usually equal a PSA 8 or 7 at worst ?
Thanks !

Bvg is very difficult to cross. Cracking out will probably b your only hope.
Could be sheet cut, depending on year and brand
Cracking it out is far and away your best shot. I have had luck doing that with BVG. As mentioned in previous post BVG grades sheet cut and PSA will not. Always a gamble as it also could measure short and not get graded. Post a pick of the card and it might become more clear.
Crack and submit. I've seen it go both ways depending on when the BVG was graded. I've had much better luck with the BVG that had subgrades.
I've had really good success with BVG with subgrades for the pre 1981 cards. I've even received higher PSA grades than the BVG grade such has 8.5 Henderson RC and 8.5 Murray RC both got PSA 9s. I've had 9.0 BGS 89T Tiffany Griffey get PSA 10. Look for the subgrades that matter (Corners being #1) As for after the elimination of subgrades not so much. Some same grades but mostly .5 to 1.0 lower.

Forgot to add that most of that success was with cracking out!

Agree with the crackers.
Thanks for the input, I will crack and submit and post my results.
