Help to Identify: DATE for old Cincinnati Reds ticket

This was tucked inside an old Indy racing program from the 1960's. While I doubt it has any value, I am curious as to what year and/or date this is from. There probablu isn't enough left of the ticket to identify it, but my curiosity has led me to ask...

Thanks!

I suppose the style of the stub might be able to narrow down the year range, but more specific than that, I don't think? Good luck! Just noting the exact date of the racing program would probably help narrow it down.

I see I can't post pictures the way I used to on the new message board - I'll have to figure out how to do it the right way later - I apologize in advance.

The racing program was from 05/31/1965...

Based on the address format of the "Ansell-Simplex Ticket Co." on the back, I think it has to be between 1951-1962.

And based on the $1.50 price of the ticket, and the font of "rain check", I would say 1955-1960. A 1961 Reds ticket that I found used a more modern font.

So it isn't likely the totally random Pete Rose first hit ticket like I was hoping for? :)

Honestly, just was curious if there is still a way to date it. Mlbfan2, thanks for the research, that helps narrow it down!

I matched the partial signature to Bill Dewitt, Reds President.
