Day 4 (last day, Sunday) of NYINC 2017

This is my first time going to all four days of the bourse activity, and it was a half day for me as we had to check out by noon.

I got there early-ish and felt a much more relaxed atmosphere. Of course, as morning progressed, it became obvious (and expected) that the floor traffic was much thinner too.

I was tempted by more coins from my Italian dealer friend, but no execution. I was also tempted by that thrymsa, but (for now) no execution. Spoke a bit to Steve Hill at Sovereign. Shockingly, he is much younger than I am even though he looks, well, not.

Saw a couple of interesting pieces still available across several dealer tables, but didn't bother to look carefully.

Met up with Zohar again, who was kind enough to bring me a piece of fruit for my only bit of food of the day until much later. Cute daughter.

Checkout time approached quickly. Went back to hotel, checked out and took Uber to WFC ferry across the river to my waiting car. Ate Popeyes on the NJ Turnpike, arrived home and felt sad that the show was officially over. One of my smoke/CO detectors was chirping, so that distracted me from the disappointment of leaving the show.

Took a nap, and feeling better now.

Until next year... at the Grand Hyatt.

BTW, on the way home, I mentioned to my wife that I may want to take the whole week off. I think the 2018 show week includes MLK Monday, which is an off-day for me. So that means I can come in over the weekend and Monday (commute) for the HA auction and then stay one extra day (Wednesday) for the part of the CNG auction that I care about. She seemed fine with that.

How does one get a hater to stop hating?
