There are 1984 Donruss wax boxes that were authenticated in July 2012 by Baseball Card Exchange as being FASC.
Those boxes have on the BBCE label written "7/12".

Anything particularly special about the ones from that date?
They do exist. I have one with that date. I believe it was from a group break on these boards.
