Cards that are TOUGH to find, yet shouldn't be

There are cards out there that can be so hard to find, it is almost like they don't exist. As mentioned in my last article, I just picked up this:

It is supposed to be numbered to 200, yet I only know of one other copy out there.

The last I checked, I think I had around 700 different Canseco cards numbered to 100 or below.

Where the heck are they, and what are some tough cards you are looking for that shouldn't be tough at all?

Here are mine (all numbered to 99 and higher!)

1997 Leaf Signature Platinum Press Proof /150

1997 Flair Legacy Row 0 /100

1998 Pacific Revolution Shadow Series /99

2000 Topps MVP Promotion /100

2002 Donruss Fan Club CREDITS #282 /100

2003 Topps Retired Signature Black /99

And others. What are yours?

I haven't been actively looking for them but those 1991 Leaf Gold Rookies numbered as part of the regular set. I still haven't seen one and would imagine the Bagwell go for some major coin.

Exactly the set that I was going to mention. I saw a couple for sale in the mid 90s, but nothing since. The 90 Score Promo cards are in the same category. I have both of these on my ebay search list since, oh maybe 1980, and nothing ever pops up.

How about a 2001 Topps Chrome Retrofractor (Refractor) #146 Fernando Tatis. I have been looking for this silly card for about 8 years...maybe 9. I have every Topps Chrome Refractor Cardinals base card in existence (1996-present) with the exception of Mr Tatis. It should be a $2 card....but I can't find one!

The 1989 Score promos are MEGA tough as well. I saw one online that I was mega pumped about, and it went sky high...to my friend. He said he had been looking for one for years and years. Shortly thereafter, a second one popped up (presumably because one guy saw the price the first one brought and said HEY! I have that!) so I grabbed it.

Another weird one is the 2000 Bowman Chrome Retro / Future Refractor Canseco. There are TONS on ebay, yet I had never seen one for sale until about a month ago.

There are several 1994 finest football refractors that are tough to track down. Glyn Milburn is one of the toughest for some reason.

There's a handful of 2003 Press Pass Bronze autographs that are just impossible. They're supposed to common, more plentiful than silver (/200) and gold (/100) parallels. I've been collecting the set for 13 years and there's some I've never seen or have seen just once. Crazy.
