Does anyone know about these packs that were wrapped in plastic?? Someone commented on video that they were done after 1989??

I don't remember seeing any 1989 Topps packs like that. Griffey is not in those packs.

The funny thing is that the wrappers in this thread still look like a wax pack style and not the ones in the video. Never seen the ones like those in the link??
There is some discussion in that thread as to how 1991 Topps has both the crimped (as in your video) and regular plastic wrappers. I assume the same situation probably applied in 1989. In any case they are certainly uncommon.
