First PSA sub results are in!
Likely to be important only to me, but I bought a couple items at the Philly show at the beginning of the month and subbed two of them after joining the PSA club. Just got the results on the website and am stoked by one of them!
1966 Philadelphia Gum #57 Cornell Green PSA 8
1966 Philadelphia Gum #56 Mike Connelly PSA 8
Both of these are low pop cards, the Cornell Green is top of the pops - there are no 10's, 9's or 8.5's. For the Connelly, there are no 10's, six 9's and no 8.5's.
Really happy about the Green. Paid $4 for it and the vcp average for PSA 8 is $350. Paid $2 for the Connelly and vcp average for PSA 8 is $26.25. Was hoping for an 8.5 on the Connelly due to centering, but hey, happy with both of these additions to my Dallas Cowboys collection!
Question: Does it typically just take a couple hours from when the results show up on the site until I can add the cert to my set? When i click on the cert number now, it says it can't yet be found in the system. Thanks!

Your first example is what got me so hooked on buying raw cards. There are huge rates of return that are possible like what happened with your sub. Nice going and good luck with your set.
Congrats. Enjoy the cards.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Thank you. I believe that, it's very exciting finding something and anticipate getting the results back - could be very addicting. LOL
I probably went through 1,000 or so cards from the 1960's at a single booth to filter out the best looking Cowboys. Worked out to be a good use of a cold Saturday afternoon.

I totally agree! Plucking a raw card off of eBay and getting it into a high grade PSA slab is one of my favorite parts of collecting!
They call me "Pack the Ripper"
prgsdw, Well played!! Nothing like getting great results on the first sub.
Just got the cards back from PSA and scanned them,, here they are. I have 3 copies of the Green and they all have what looks like a bit of print spray on the shoulder like this one:

I don't think the Connelly would grade higher as I see some PD (print defect) to the right of his head above the ear and some print smudges on his name, but nice score on the Green.

Agreed. I didn't notice that when I was looking over the card before I subbed it at the show, but picked it out right away on the scan. Odd thing is holding it in my hand and looking at it with the naked eye it doesn't look nearly as obvious as it does on the scan.
