Putting a Type-B Rev. Washington Quarter in a Dansco Album

USSID18USSID18 Posts: 508 ✭✭✭✭

So I'm just looking for your opinions. I know it's all subjective or what I like but I want your opinion.

I'm working on completing a #8140 Dansco Album for Washington Quarters 1932-1998 w/ Proof. I'm completing the album with all AU or better coins. The proofs start at 1968.

I have what I believe is a mint state 1959 type-B.

Question: Would you put the type-B in the album? I'm thinking of labeling below the coin "Type-B Rev"

Your thoughts?
Thanks.

Im not sure about your particular album but a lot of the albums have extra holes or you could buy an extra blank page for quarters and start a variety page starting with the type B quarters.

Just to make sure you don't think you're sitting on a major rarity... the 1959 is extremely common with the TyB...about half the coins in 1959 mint sets are TyB... so it's not the least bit scarce.

Roger that georgiacop50, thanks! I'm new here. I was trying to figure out how to post some pictures. I think I got it.

    Certainly is a Type B.
Maybe you will want to put together a date run of these too, from 1956-64 alongside the proofs.

Yes, as justcollecting mentioned, I think I'll pick-up a plank extra page label it with the Type-B's. Thanks!
