I believe your post is not appropriate, and I will not look at your ebay listing. Hope no one else does either.

Greg you sound down right hostile. I had no idea I was doing anything but notifying other registry set owners of the possibility of acquiring a registry quality coin. I thought that was one of the reasons that this board exists. If I am wrong I believe simply telling me so would be the first appropriate action. Then if I were to continue it would be expected that remarks like yours would follow. Your harsh mean spirited comments seam totally INAPPROPRIATE to me. Do you have a problem dealing with people every day or just today? I do not need your money and really would not like to have any dealings with anyone with such a poor attitude.

    Sincerely,

Isn't any PCGS holdered coin a "registry quality coin"?

I have no evil feelings towards you or anyone else. We have however had numerous discussions here of what should be offered for sale on this board. I think the general feeling is that it is appropriate to offer pieces to members here. List the series, date, a description, picture if you have it, and price. Or, ask for PMs if you don't want to advertise a specific price. However, we have also expressed frustration at members simply advertising their Teletrade or eBay auctions here. Those are not coins we can buy now from you. We have said the B/S/T Board is the place for that. Why should we care? Because, excessive advertising pushes serious discussions and serious offerings that we can act on now off the front page. At a minimum bunch your advertisements in one post. If another member wants to highlight a rare offering from ebay (not his own stuff), that's OK as it is then an item of general interest, but it needs to be an item of significant interest and not just a fronter for the spammer.

BTW, I do not believe my remarks are mean spirited. They are simple statements of opinion and fact. I believe something is not appropriate is a simple statement of opinion about your action and not your character. I will not bid in your auction is a simple statement of fact. Hope no one else bids is simply a request for others to adopt my position. In that the comments may not have been eloquently stated might fairly be construed as evidence of harshness, though I think the word direct is more descriptive.

On the other hand, your rhetorical questions and statements could be construed as personal attacks. Saying I sound hostile could be considered a statement that you are inferring a negative character flaw on my part. Saying my remarks are mean spirited implies I think that you are accusing me of having a mean spirit (certainly a negative if true). Asking if I have a problem dealing with people everyday or just today is logically a personal criticism of my inter-personal skills.

I am not asking for an apology nor a retraction, as it is at least conceivable that some of your personal attacks may be on target. A change of action, would however be appreciated.

    Cheers
