1868 G$1 PCGS MS64 - Very low mintage and a beautiful prooflike coin

The 1868 date saw a low 10,500 mintage, and unlike the later 1880's dates, very few survived. This coin is very well struck and has choice prooflike surfaces and nice cameo contrast. It has never been submitted to CAC but would undoubtedly be approved. (If I don't sell it here I will submit it at auction) Very tough to find in this grade and a huge jump in price one grade higher. (I don't play that game)
I tried to show the cameo and prooflike contrast in the photos but the coin looks much better in hand.
A beautiful type 3, better date, gold dollar. $2650
