Is it safe to say that a face plate 86 on a 1934D $10 frn note is normal for the series?

No. There is a 1934D Minneapolis face 86 and possibly one for Dallas (my 1934-series $10 Dallas plate records are incomplete). Kansas City face 86 is 1934C. For all other districts, face 86 is either 1934 or 1934A.

The plates were destroyed in the 1930s-50s. As for how many 1934-series notes with face plate 86 from the various districts that exist, I don't know.

Any idea how many of these 34D fp 86s exist?
Thanks much for the info.
What is your interest in so many face plate 86s?
Just wanted to know if it is common or not. I do have one regular note from Minneapolis with this face plate.
