In response to DBSTrader2 (from 5lbs of world coins)

_____ Welcome back! Hope things are still stabilized there. By now, you've probably gone thru most of the bag? How do you do so? Do you separate by country & then check for any needs? Keep all or just some? Have folders/albums? I used to love sifting thru "junk boxes" at shows looking for Canadian, British, Australia/New Zealand, & Mexico coins to add to my folders - - before my eyesight started going downhill..............___
I'm with you brother!
I have 3 goose neck lights, one floor mounted with a large magnifying glass attached to the bulb shroud (something a lot of needle point hobbyists use). It's all about magnification, light and plenty of it.
I dump the bag
and spill the coins,
a sight which brings
heat to my loins.
All countries lie
before my eyes
as I begin the search
for that special prize.
What stands out
I immediately grab-
is it good enough
to maybe slab?
Then separate
large from small-
Oh my goodness,
what a haul.
Silver from nickel,
bronze from copper,
It's all too much
and I begin to slobber.
I take a break
and start again.
finding Britain's lion,
and Ireland's hen.
When it's all done
I'm satisfied
and grin the grin
of a collectors pride.

Nice poetry!!
THEN what do you do with the rest? Separate/sell by country, or just throw back together & sell-off by the pound? Other? Sounds like a great distraction! (Have a pic of your lighting/magnifier set-up?)
