Seeing him go to space later in life...much courage. He will be missed
Sad to hear the news but happy to know he lived a long and thrilling life.
Would like to post a picture of the only John Glenn card I have but it is in Newport Beach right now as part of a submission order (1969 Monty Gum Famous People).
Mr Glenn was also a decorated member of US Marine Corp. Another of the greatest generation gone. RIP.
World War II Corsair pilot and also flew missions during the Korean War. I read that for a time, his wingman was Ted Williams. http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ftw/2016/12/09/ted-williams-flew-as-john-glenns-wingman-during-the-korean-war/95200440/
