Well I for the first time in a few years managed to get a USA based customer service rep.

Instead of being on the phone for an hour transfered to multiple and getting absolutely no where all was fixed in under 5 minutes.

I had that happen last month when they ". Accidentally" didn't apply my top rated discount to my invoice.
Well truthfully, I called and got someone out of the country who couldn't help, and she transfered me to someone US based who got me the info.

Rep mentioned they are working on bring things back stateside.

I too spoke to someone in Asia on Friday about the same thing and we just spoke in circles for nearly an hour.

Glad I decided to call again instead of awaiting a email.

When I have called eBay customer service I always end up really pissed off .... but .....

Last week eBay customer service (development team I think) called me and the guy was very helpful and I picked his brain for over an hour.

Bottom line, don't call them, but get as much knowledge as you can when they call you.

No I concentrated on probing on how to sell my photo art. Art seems impossible to sell on eBay, but he had a bunch of great suggestions .

As to Kayak fishing, been slow this year but, 2 days ago I was with my buddy on yaks when he caught a 200 -300 pound Black Sea Bass which is protected by the great state of California, so we spent a half hour reviving it to release this hundred year old fish back in to its deep home.

Mouth to mouth, lol. My buddy kept saying his mouth was so big he could sallow a basketball.

Dragging to keep fresh salt water going through the gills and then pushing the beast down with a paddles which took about 20 times till it worked

Until eBay finds a way to jack fees up to cover the higher cost of domestic service call centers. Watch for it.

Chat is the best way to go on EBAY, No language barriers and no repeating yourself over and over to transferred calls, and you get a transcript of conversation emailed to you.
