Here a few recent pick ups.
My one and only Tom brady.
Awesome pick ups Matt. Well done!
Thanks TD, big fan of that 65 Robinson and the mini Seaver. Neither is easily found with that centering.
This thread needs a little more Football
I like the Starr rookie. My collection is about 49% baseball, 49% football, 1% basketball, and 1% hockey. I have several nice cards of Unitas and Starr but don't have either rookie card yet. Someday maybe.
Just picked these up from a friend of mine and just arrived in the mail today. I am super happy to add these to my OPC unopened collection. I have never seen a FASC "tape intact" box of OPC before he sent me these. I am currently working on a PSA 10 set of 1984, but can't see myself opening this one because of the "tape intact" designation. The "tape intact" boxes seem to be getting a little harder to find lately....
Thanks Matt!
Mick - fantastic '57 Mays and '63 Koufax. Love the eye appeal on those.
Picked up a Red for my registry set.

ToneD, that '65 Frank is VERY nice!
Here's a nice addition to my Boog set that arrived this week.
I don't have any Boog Powell cards in my collection yet. I will have to get one.
A few 1951 Ringside cards and a Christmas gift for my Mom who is addicted to collecting Wizard of Oz.

Kind of cool just having a card that says Cincinnati Redlegs
Here are a few recent pickups for my Fred McGriff PC.
First one of the month for me. Coincides nicely with his debut this season after a preseason injury sidelined him for 8 weeks. 2015 O-Pee-Chee Platinum Jack Eichel Retro Red /15 in PSA 10 Pop 1. Shiny little guy! Never had one of the refractor style cards in hand before, if that is what this one is. They're kind of cool!
Kevin
These just arrived today.
James
Nice centering on this Flair.
In order to be the BEST........ you gotta beat the BEST!!!!........Whoooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!
Picked up two upgrades to my Perreault registries. First a 1984 Topps in PSA 10 pop 2.
Second is a 1982 OPC in PSA 10 pop 8.
These last two fell into my cart and I didn't realize it.........uhm yeah thats it......... I am not an addict, I am not an addict, I am ....... not fooling anyone.

Almost forgot this beauty came too. Thanks again Dennis88!

Now that we do not need photo bucket - I can post cards and participate. First time ever using my scanner to try to capture an image. Did not come out as well as many of you with the nice Epson. Very excited to get this card - really think it is strong for the grade. Crossing fingers that this works.
It worked sort of - how do I get picture to show up instead of having to click on the card to see it? Thanks for the help.
Try scanning it in and saving it as a .jpg instead of a .pdf.
Kevin
Nicely centered Willie for my mid grade 54 set.

Thanks Lotsos will give it a try this weekend.
Brick,
Nice pickup. Your post reminded me of a question I've had for a while. Is there a generally agreed upon division in the grading scale that sorts out low grade, mid grade or high grade? I kind of assumed that it would be 1-3 low, 4-6 mid 7-9 high and 10s kind of in a league of their own. Silly question and not really important because beauty is in the eye of the beholder and some 2s (like yours) present better than OC 7s but it is a question I've had.
Thanks,
Kevin
Edit for grammar, spelling and such. I probably still missed a bunch.
Kevin
Love the '54 Mays (and that whole set). Nice bright yellow border on your card.
LOTSOS. I think you are right on the money with your grading divisions. I call it my mid grade set because most of my cards are between PSA 4-6 with a few lesser and a few a bit nicer.

Xmas a few days early! Many thanks to Invest In Baseball for tracking down a super hard card in the exact shape specified.
DM23HOF,
Wow what a "grand slam" of a pickup. Great looking for the grade and centered. Congrats on landing one of the all-time greats.
Thx, JB. Adding this little guy, too...
Love that Cobb.
DM23HOF, I have always loved the 48 leaf Musial. I will some day add one of those to my collection. A very nice looking 2.5 for sure.
James, nice score on the stand-ups. Don't own any but always thought they were pretty cool looking.
I was happy to add a couple of mid-grade HOF's this month.
Very nice Cobb! I dont collect BB at all but that image even I could recognize.
Adding 4 to the collection today. One thing I focus on is Jack Eichel Rookie cards. He is the only modern player I really chase and this will be strictly limited to his Rookie year.
Kevin
Let's see if second time is a charm. Think it worked this time - scanner is not the best so is a bit blurry but excited to add this to my collection. Love the old trophy cards JBrules really like that Bench.
A few for my 52 set.
For Sale
brad31, Thanks for the Bench comments. That is a strong looking 64 PSA 7 Rose. Very nice pickup as it has great eye-appeal for a 7.
My favorite December pick up so far...
This Aaron was delivered today.
James
WOW guys! Some really nice looking cards you picked up this month. Keep them coming.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
Amazing Aaron! And those 52s are all strong for the grade. Beautiful cards.
Needed a 62 for my Tigers collection!!
An early Christmas gift from my amazing wife - Has been on my want list for years!
Happy Holidays to all!!
Back from adding Dan Rooney in Pittsburgh.

That Aaron is one tremendous card. I met Vinegar Bend Mizell at a show in Pittsburgh about a dozen years ago. He seemed to be a kind gentleman. I'm not presently working on 58s but I just wanted this card.

Some great cards in this thread. Keep them coming.
I just added another catch to my Ringside set - POP 5 Sugar Ray Robinson PSA 9. Been looking at this card for almost two years. Dealer finally came down to what I was willing to spend. Can't wait! The last card that will put a dent in my pocket will be the Marciano. Finding a centered 8 at a fair price will be a challenge.
