My Name In Plastic - At Last

Well, the time has come to pedigree two of my type sets. I have no fantasies of the Jordan name making these coins covetted collector pieces. I plan to keep these a long time, and other than upgrades, pass them to my kids. The name on the slab is my reward for accomplishing what I did on the budget I did it on.
20th Century with Variations Circulation Strikes (5th)
&
1950 - Present Circulation Strikes (4th)
BJ confirmed these are now eligible, and other than the two SLQs I am still looking to add to the 1900 set, I don't anticipate any/many upgrades, so now is the time before I'm bumped from the top 5.
My only dilema is the 1792-1964 CNS set. I'm sitting in 5th place, with several contenders just a few coins behind me. A surprise new set, or several coin upgrade could knock me out of the top 5 for good, but hate to spend $5/coin on something that otherwise might be free. What to do, what to do...

Great Job!! Especially on a budget. Congratulations !!!!
I didn't quite understand the issue about the CNS set. Can you pedigree a partial set for $5/coin? Some of the sets above you are also listed in the complete type set list. Perhaps one of them would be happy with only one listing and delete their CNS set?
Some of the denominations are weird in your set. You have a Braided Hair Cent with a denomination of 5.9 cents and a Indian Cent worth 8.3 cents I guess the new math needs tweaking.
Anyway don't worry about me, I won't list my coins in the CNS set for a while. Actually I was thinking of doing so to give me a shot at registering the 3000'th set...

As for the budget, the fact that I slabbed 2 MS68 silver 76-S Kennedys and 2 MS67FS Jeffersons, then sold one of each helped. I submitted many of the other high grade moderns myself too. I wouldn't be caught dead buying an MS70 $5G CVC! (Or I would be dead if my wife caught me!)
The $5/coin I mentioned is the fee to have additional coins re-slabbed with the pedigree. You only get one shot per set at having it done for free.
I'll post a scan showing the pedigree on the latest slab label after I get them back. It will be a bit, as I won't be mailing out until next week.
You might consider having them pedigreed as "MS69" instead of your name. A little fortuitous mixup in labelling, and... ka-ching!

Several questions on how this pedigree thing works.
1 - does the set have to be complete and in top 5 to be free?
2 - how about shipping and insurance? I would hate to have my complete Mercury Dime set in the mail.
3 - would they do it at a big show, so there wouldn't be any mail involved?
Just wondering.

In answer to some questions above...
I don't know of any requirement to be complete--just in the top 5.
It is free one time per set--to pedigree additional coins in a set later you must still be in the top 5, and pay the re-holder fee.
I assume I pay postage & insurance both ways.
I don't know if they do it at shows.
