1929 NY national note

There were 732 20 Dollar Type 2 notes issued by/for the First National Bank of Marcellus, charter number 9869. Are there estimates for the surviving population and possibly even a condition census?

I am curious as to what the surving population is and how much more difficult it would be over the type 1 note

It's a better note (depending upon grade). There are 19 small size in the latest T&P census which includes 16 Type One notes, two Type Two $10s, and one Type Two $20 with S/N A000619 and graded Fine.

Thanks. I checked Heritage currency auction records and found a record for two sales for Marcellus type I 20 notes and none for type II. The last auction was more that 10 years ago. Based on the numbers, even a type I seems quite tough especially if it is nice.
