Max Love!

I am a big fan of the Maximilian series and have been working for years on a complete denomination set including the branch mint issues and varieties. I am ecstatic tonight adding a Love Token for an absolutely fantastic price! I haven't posted on here in a while and I wanted to share my happiness.

On a side note, does PCGS or NGC ever grade love tokens as such, without issuing a ding "Details" grade.

Is the reverse engraved at all? I like the griffins on these and wouldn't mind seeing a picture (ahem, hint hint).

This is actually the first love token I've seen graded. I would anticipate they are grading the coin, thus the graffiti/details grade. Not sure what standard or reference would apply to such personal and one-off items like this otherwise.

Can I ask why grading? Is it for a consistent style for a set (if your basic set is Maximillian rather than the token aspect)?

Picked it up on eBay already graded, otherwise I think raw it might have sold at a higher price.

Nothing engraved on the back on this one. The reverse is awesome on these, here's an image from another one in the collection :)

Totally cool. Love tokens are something I ... well ... love!
