Found Gold?!

I've had these jars for years without really looking at them.

I've now looked more closely and liquid gold leaf intrigues me. All dried out and what remains-is this not gold? And what's under the blue residue (about 1/2 the bottle of 2oz)?

I think I understand Treasure gold and Arum but that liquid gold leaf has me hoping... (The images loaded in a funny sequence but you'll get the idea.)

Interesting stuff. Could be something there. Ive melted down a hute lot of scrap gold leaf. Huge pain in the arse, but yielded 2 oz of 14K. Also the label reads "thin with turpentine", I have a bottle on hand if ya wanna use the stuff.

Not the newest or nicest bar I've poured, but the largest at 76ozt
