Being discussed on another forum. Consensus is a fake coin in a fake pcgs slab. The cert # matches but the barcode is wrong. And the cert # page doesn't have a warning on it so I thought I'd post it on here for discussion & to bring to PCGS's attention...

Fake slab, pretty sure all labels that have blue fading to white have 3 prong holder. Looks like newer label in older slab.
Fake coin. The liberty isnt right. The ty should be more pronounced, the other letters more mushy or less bold.
I bet they cracked out the real one, saved the label and put in an older slab. Probably why the grade doesn't match the coin. Just as their description says.

Way too much detail on the obverse for a No D Strong Reverse. Font on the label doesn't look right to me, but I'm not positive.
Font looks off to me...

not sure about the blue fade part, but printing on label is way off.
color of coin should make any serious collector cry &/or run if they mistakenly think it's real.
many tells that it's entirely a fake all the way around.

i'm glad you posted this, for a few reasons. i've noticed that the majority of fakes posted here via ebay in the past 12-18 months have been raw. before that for 12-18+ months, it was a ton of slabs and raw.
i'm going to search mine & morrisine's counterfeit cert tracking megaladon thread. lol
i've added a few certs over the past several months.

well, thankfully my old bookmark works with the new software. i thought all old links were nuked. yay.
i don't see that cert in the list, for now, and i gotta say both slab and coin gotta be fake here, for reasons already stated.
added:
using the old bookmarks does seem to either log me out or just need logged back in period? either way, heads-up.

I'm not saying it isn't fake, but there are blue-to-white label holders without 3 prong inserts.
This is the only one I have, submitted sometime mid 2015 I think:
Edit to add:
I found my receipt, sent in on 7/25/2015
