1956 Topps Submission Results - Very Pleased!!!

Subbed 73 1956 Topps on the October special and results popped today. Very happy indeed and might just start a registry set. I've never tried to set one up so I'll have to do some learning the ins and outs of set registry. The Indians team card is a pop 2 and the Roy Face is a pop 1 with none higher. I subbed them all with no qualifiers so centering hit me hard on a few cards.

WOW ... those are some great results. As I have said many times before when you get results like this ... sell the Indians team and Roy Face ... buy each one grade lower ... and put a nice bundle of cash in your pocket.

They were all from in person purchases at shows or with other collectors. Have been finding some nice ones for sure.

Thanks! I have 187 of the set, in PSA slabs or at PSA waiting to be graded. If you count ungraded I am only missing the Mantle. I have many cards that I would not want to grade because of the condition being so bad and over time I would like to find better copies (PSA 5 or better) and have the entire set in graded form. I've always wanted to put together a 50's set before they went to the standard size cards of today. This set is the most affordable in that category, and the cards themselves are beautiful with the action style background. They also feature team cards of which I have long been a fan.

What a sub! Yes you could sell of the higher grade cards and get grades that match your stars grades and pick up a Mantle in the same mid-grade and have cash left over. Scans are a must. I wonder where you will be in the registry.
