Junk wax

Do you think unopened junk wax will ever be valuable? Eventually, the supply will go down...it might be 2050. Just curious.

In 2050 they will probably go for about $100 a box but then again in 2050 a hamburger & fries will be $200.00.

As much as I will always love it and collect it, no I don't ever really see it doing anything except for a select few sets that are already above the rest like the Topps Tiffany/Bowman Tiffany sets, 89 Upper Deck...maybe the Fleer Glossy's....Like you guys I hope eventually it does something, but I just don't think it will...

Always looking for OPC "tape intact" baseball wax boxes, and 1984 OPC baseball PSA 10's for my set. Please PM or email me if you have any available.
  • I've always thought the Fleer Glossys would make a comeback sometime down the road.

I bought a dozen different junk wax boxes to let my kid rip open.
My wife didn't like the junk left behind from wrappers to cards to stickers, and puzzles.

Done this a lot. I end up keeping a few cards for nostalgic reasons and then donating the rest to Goodwill or the homeless shelter.
