Am I stupid or just look like I am?..... Kinda OT

Twice now I have typed out a partial response in this thread but decided not to launch it and yet both are here in all of their half arsed glory. I did not push the post or save buttons, nor the delete button which only appears when one starts a new thread.
My typical MO is to just close out the page. What gives? Thanks for any help in advance no matter who your favorite team is : D
And while I am at it, what's up with the My Little Pony entry level emoji's?

    Same weird feature here. If you try to delete it, only a different reply & "Post Comment" will make it disappear. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it. And I like My Little Pony, so don't go there. Wait a sec. I meant to delete that. Crap.

    BTW, you might also notice a little box which pops up and says Draft Saved at whatever time it is. Don't know if your browser does that, but mine does.

    No, My Hal 2000 works fine : )
