PSA Service Wait Times
Does anybody know the process that PSA uses for processing orders? I would think they would use First In First Out (FIFO) model for the type of service.
I understand they have specific turnaround time for the type of service . 50 business days for the service I am referring to. I have had 4 different friends and/or colleagues submit the same monthly special order around the same time or after and have received their cards as early as Oct 15.
Are there different membership statuses that allow this to happen? While I understand the turnaround time suggested for the time of service, I am confused and frustrated by the inconsistencies
I suppose being the Industry Standard for card grading and lack of quality competition allow you to create your own rules and processes

size of order/years covered/sorted chronologically/etc all play into it I was told.
It can be frustrating. I submitted 4 orders back at the end of September. One 5 day, 2 10 days, and 44 on the monthly special. They arrived at PSA on 10/3 and were logged on 10/13. 10/23 the one 10 day popped. The other 10 day and the 5 day popped 2 days later. Still no movement on the 44 submitted on the special but some one else posted their results the other day and their order was logged in the same day as mine. Unfortunately I'm not a patient person by nature so that doesn't help.
