I have never seen a 1980 Topps wax tray case before...that is freaking awesome! Good luck with the sale.

Always looking for OPC "tape intact" baseball wax boxes, and 1984 OPC baseball PSA 10's for my set. Please PM or email me if you have any available.

Is there any way to know for sure if this is a case of wax trays or wax racks?

Is this equivalent to 16 wax boxes?

I also see a 1980 rack case in the background.

    Nice

  • Grote15 yes cause of the 192ct. Written on the box!!

  • Coinspacks -

    192 X 3 packs = 576 packs
    576 packs / 36 packs = 16 boxes

The reason I ask is because Topps also produced 3-pack wax racks consisting of 3 wax packs in a soft plastic sleeve in 1980.

In 1979, Topps produced cases of wax trays in both 192-ct and 2 48-ct form.
