Search function

I see the search thing near the top of the page. What happened to the advanced search? Is there a way to search certain sections of the forum or to search for member posts?

I was wondering that very thing earlier today. I did discover that I could search for user posts and mentions by entering a username in the search bar.

But just now I saw that I should have looked more closely at the result page. I typed your username in the bar and after the results loaded I noticed that there was a down arrow next to your name that pulls down an advanced search. So there you/we go.

Also, if your in a forum view, you can use the magnifying glass that is to the right of the page numbers.

Thank you for the responses. The info helps. I'll have to play around with it for a bit to try and figure everything out.
