So What Is the Activity Box Supposed To Be For?

So, thanks to @TomB, @keets, and the PCGS management, we know how to properly (and privately) post Private Messages or PMs. So the other thing, the "wall," what is that supposed to be for? I am not much into social media, and except for here and a couple of other coin forums (and one classical music forum) I just don't do FaceBook, I don't Tweet, none of that stuff. Can someone explain the intended uses of the Activity box? And what is my own Activity box supposed to be for? Am I supposed to put something there, or is it for others? Thanks and
Kind Regards,
George

I can't help you but will be waiting for someone else to reply so that I may know also.
Successful transactions with : MICHAELDIXON, Manorcourtman, Bochiman, bolivarshagnasty, AUandAG, onlyroosies, chumley, Weiss, jdimmick, BAJJERFAN, gene1978, TJM965, Smittys, GRANDAM, JTHawaii, mainejoe, softparade, derryb
Bad transactions with : nobody to date
Other forums I participate in have something similar to that.
Basically, it's a place for people to send direct messages to a member, but messages that are NOT intended to be private as they are visible to all.
On other forums it's a place for friends to post a Happy Birthday message. Or a place to post a "Congratulations for________."
Not sure how the members here will use it, but I could see it being a place where folks could leave messages after a positive BST transaction... something like "Thanks again for that great deal, I love the coin!" That would have the effect of being like a positive feedback that would be visible to all.
And since you can post messages on your own public wall, I'm sure members can use it for other purposes. When the new forum first started up, I posted a link to my own website as there doesn't seem to be a place for that in our profiles anymore.
