1922 PDS Peace dollars for the Dansco

Back 10 - 15 years ago, when I'd go to coin shows and not find anything in particular that I was looking for, I'd pick up a couple of raw Peace dollars, generally in the VF-35 to MS63 range (depending on the date/mm), simply because I liked the design. A year or so ago I decided to put together a Dansco of them, mainly the ones I picked up back in the day, but also a smattering of more recent purchases... just a fun project, nothing major. The images are by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.

Cool. I like the P and S but have a hard time with the cheek gash on the D. The S has a nice combination of reasonable luster, clean surfaces, and rim toning which is one of the few ways these tone nicely.
No offence, but hope your not paying good money
to image coins that are melt value.
What if he is just paying bad money?
Nice coins, SkyMan, great for an album set. As I've said before, I have similar side projects to yours, though am much less active these days, as they're mostly done (at affordable levels, for example, my Peace commons average MS64, and the better dates AU58-MS62, with the 34S being barely AU) and only occasionally will a coin get changed (upgraded) since they're raw.
Lightly toned peace dollars, Franklins, and silver Washingtons, as well as Roosevelts, are all terrific sets to assemble in albums

None of those coins are melt coins. And it's "offense" and "you're".
Nice Peace Bucks.
That P sure has some character.

If you have coins like these to offer for melt I will purchase them.
I like them, with the exception of the scratch.

Love the P and the reverse on the S.
What's going on with "peace" on the S mint coin? Machine doubling?
I agree with the above post.
The 1922 is great, the S has nice appeal.
The 22-D doesn't do much for me.
What is going on with the obverse rim of the 22P at 11:00?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I would think.
I would be pleased to own them myself.

Bad transactions with : nobody to date
I particularly like the 22p. It has nice color with some elevation chromatics. I wouldn't kick any of them out my Dansco!
Nice coins really like them.
Not a bad idea putting together set like that and it feels good. Working on similar project. Frankly this is the essence of coin collecting not big ticket material / sticker game.
