Rhodesian coins

Anyone collect these? Specifically the Ian Smith era, after UDI... if anyone cares to post any images, I'd love to see them. :#

    OK.

Rhodesia declared independence from England but kept the Queen on its coins.

What an interesting timing. I just won this coin from Rhodesia on Heritage. My first ever Heritage win of any kind, BTW:

Desslok, I won the 10% off NGC 64 in the same sale :)

Cool! But if you don't mind me asking, why did yours end up higher than mine? How come the 25% realized $59 (w/ bp), and the 10% got to $63? Both are NGC 64. I'm really curious about that.

    Zompels, that's a wonderful 5!

desslok, I just liked the surfaces better, and I wasn't interested in it as much for the error, or extent of the error, as I was in the coin itself. As far as why it went higher, I think there was at least one other bidder on both coins.
