Auction 98 will close November 29 — 511 lots, ancient & early coins, mostly good stuff, with truly LOW starting bids. Includes rarities like Pescennius Niger, Laelianus, Julian of Pannonia, but also some cheap budget coins; and fixed price specials.
A great buying opportunity. Unlike other sales, mine have no consigned coins, so I totally control the contents, aiming for a good variety of nice material. By comparison, eBay is full of junk and fakes (I see many fakes bid up high), and you can't buy anything good at a reasonable price. Most other auctions get far more bidders too, so the greater competition makes it hard to buy reasonably.
