    they are not just Canadian, there are world coins , fakes, being sold out of Europe for some time.

    That is one very good fake. Do you possibly think it to be a mule? Perhaps an old die was grabbed and a few coins minted before it was realized that the die was for a King dead 4 years?

    I think the 1891 cent fake is even better. About a $10K coin if it were genuine.

    I agree that the 1891 cent was even better. They just picked the wrong die marriage(markers) or no one would have noticed. To have a 1912, 1914, and 1916 of the same denomination with the wrong Monarch and a 1909 as well ... these were either bad counterfeiters not knowing who was king or it was done intentionally so it would not be a legal counterfeit. It couldn't be a counterfeit if there was never a legal coin struck like that... it would be a fantasy issue.

    actually it is a considered counterfeit according to Canadian law, as it portraits Canadian coinage and is in most aspects the same as Canadian currency.
