This is one of my favorites portraits from Modern Greek Coins ,
KM-15, King Otto of Greece (1832-1862). The first Kingdom Silver Drachma 1832 ,PCGS MS65 . (Tough in such a condition.)
Obverse - Othon Young head right, Reverse - Crowned arms within branches
ex Otto Horn Collection .

I can see its a high grade coin , diebreak at bottum obverse ?
I dont like the patina though, perhaps it needs an acetone bath.

Correct , die break at the neck of King .
About the patina , could be interesting but also shows the age of the coin untouch .

In the long run all silver coins will turn black , all ancient greek coins BC were cleaned several times in their life.
if this coin had the beautifull toning of your 5 kings 1963 50 Drachma , I would leave it as be.
ask around at your coinclub if this patina on your Otto 1832 is harmfull to the coin in the long run.
    just my 2 cents.

On my view silver coins can be toned and survive from patina , if it's a copper piece then environmental damage is sure .
Anyway will reconsider the restoration service ......better frosty eye appeal perhaps after that .
    Thanks Andres .

Normal patina is OK, but there are all sorts of nasty stuff, like PVC. Only visited Athens twice, sadly I'm no member of your coinclub , but I do know a couple of members :)

Very very nice. I don't see any PVC traces to justify an acetone bath: it's the kind of toning that others like and others don't, but it gives the coin character. Otherwise, it's a true gem, congrats Panos.
