How long before a Sub is shipped after you have been charged

I have a reholder order that was charged to my account on Friday but is still showing as "in process" on my account. Just curious as to how long before it is shipped to me. My understanding is that being charged is the last step, so just curious as to why it is still in process. Not worried about it just curious as to the process as this is the first solo order I have done in a few years. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Usually it's minutes apart. My guess would be early Monday

You get charged once they receive your item, not when it is completed. So now you just and sit and wait for your allotted number of business days...

I've only had my cc charged when grades are completed, just before it ships.

Unless it changed recently, when you get charged your order is complete and should be ready to ship. I'm thinking it should show as shipped on Monday.

You should see your cards marked as shipped within 1 business day of being charged. PSA only charges once services are complete, not when cards are received.

    Appreciate today-

Thanks guys that's what I thought. Just wanted to double check. Thanks again.

That's what I get for making an assumption when it says that your card won't be charged until your order is "received and processed." I always thought it meant processed in house, not "completed." Also tells you that I never look at my credit card...

  • First time poster! Yea!

Don't want to hijack this thread but I submitted something for autograph encapsulation at the Super Express rate (5 days). They processed it on the 10th (and my CC was charged as well). Still says status "OK." I believe by their standards this would now be the 7th day? Is that correct?

Is this an unusual occurrence? You can probably tell I have not submitted much to PSA before.

    Thanks.

My experience with my last 10 or so subs is that the process time is around 5-10 days from USPS/FedEx/UPS delivery date. Then the business days start. Around the National, there were some longer wait times past what is estimated. The last few I have had since the National have popped below the estimated processing days.

You are correct that today would be the 7th day. You can always call them if you have questions.

I have a submission in that has 4 orders to it. 1 Five day, 3 Ten days, 1 September special. It was recieved on 10/3. Not logged in until 10/13. I called between the arrival and the logging in and they said they were backed up due to the number of submissions on the monthly special. Hopping for the 5 day to pop soon.

I hope that trend of early poppage continues with my cc renewal sub. I'm on business day 6 and like Tom Petty sang "The waiting is the hardest part".

Mine was logged on 9/26 and received today! It was just a reholder order though.

My clearly marked 50 day sub was logged in just 9 days!
  • ugaskidawgugaskidawg Posts: 882 ✭✭✭

I went back and looked at my last 5 or so subs and I was mistaken. I did have one go over the estimated window. It was a 30-day CC special sub that popped in around 35 days. I had 1 10-day sub pop in 6 days and another 10-day pop in 7 days, a 30-day sub pop in 4 days, another 30 days sub pop in 13 days.

  • I actually had to call to get my submission "nudged." After hanging up (probably a couple hours later) my sub was graded/authenticated and shipping. Pays to call them I guess!?
