Madbum vs. Kershaw

So, you are the GM. Who do you want as your ace, Clayton Kershaw or Madison Bumgarner?



One cleans up in the regular season, the other in the post season.



I have always liked Kershaw, but madbum has done so well in the postseason I am starting to lean his way.

1.94 era to 4.59 for Kershaw. It's not like MB is a slouch in the regular season either. MB is also 2 years younger.



I will take Bumgarner. How about you?

As a Dodger fan it's hard to not take Kershaw but Bumgarner has been incredible in the postseason... and no slouch during the regular season either. Hopefully Kershaw can improve his post-season reputation tomorrow.

Watching Bumgarner pitch last night brought back bad memories of the Royals trying to hit him in the '14 world series.
Bumgarner almost singlehandedly beat the Royals that year. Without him, Royals win the series, no doubt.

Tough to pick someone other than him.
And I think the Giants will beat the Cubs in this upcoming series.
