What a surprise!

Came home this weekend to my wife saying I got a package in the mail. When I opened it, I saw a note addressed to both of us, or "Mr and Mrs TwoKopeiki". I knew something was up at that point and we opened the card together to see a wonderful note and a coin! And not just any coin, but the one I have been using as my avatar for all these years - a 1921 2 Pesos!

John, Dan - thank you for your warm wishes and for my only numismatic wedding present! It means a lot and I will always display it as part of my collection.

John is jfransch on CoinCommunity forums. He doesn't post here, but does read the forums from time to time. Plus he's got some amazing 8 Reales sets under the name RFS Industries, including this award-winning beauty!

And Dan is OriginalDan. His sets have some of the best gem examples of Mexico 8 Reales I have ever seen, both eye-appeal and grade. If you haven't seen them - highly recommend looking at a few of these beauties.
