Looks pretty clear to me. However, that is part of playing on ebay field

    Maybe the buyer is color-blind?

Can you contact eBay and send them the scan? It's pretty clear to me too.

Reminds of Jim Carrey in "liar, liar". "The ******* pen is blue!"

This is why buyers are doing things like "restocking fees", charging extra for shipping and on and on. I had a guy the other day buy a lot, get them, leave pos feedback and then ask for a refund because he said he "changed his mind". Seller is out shipping charges on an item in this case here. I personally would fight it, even though I know I would lose.
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

If the buyer files an eBay claim they do not pay for return shipping if eBay sides with them on the claim.

    Ah, I see.

Total jerk move by the buyer, but I'd be careful, it's in pretty poor taste to publish their personal email on a public forum like this.

I don't get the point of complaining about how eBay works. This is how they are, known to all. Published rules, well in advance. The nature of the beast.

If you choose to sell there, you're agreeing to the terms. If not, don't use it.

Maybe someday it will be different. But it is not now and I haven't seen any signs that they're considering a change.

Option #1: Accept the return, block the bidder, move on with your life

Option #2: Fight it, probably lose anyway, resort to option #1

Option #3: Accept the return, block the bidder, share your story (and their ID) with others in the hope they block him/her too, move on with your life

Option #4: Do option #3, but before you move on with your life, also report the buyer to eBay for abuse of the Buyer Protection Program

eBay doesn't exactly make Option #4 easy to find, but it does exist! If you don't fight it (which is generally pointless), this is the only way to get something noted on their account that could/may be held against them in the future if they make a habit of abusing the very buyer-friendly return rules.

I don't use it often... maybe twice ever... but in cases like this where the buyer is taking advantage of the system (for whatever reason), I absolutely do.

The buyer (and ebay, if they allow the return) are the ones that aren't following ebay's terms...

Misuse of returns or the eBay Money Back Guarantee

If we determine that you've abused returns on eBay or the eBay Money Back Guarantee, you may be subject to a range of actions, including limits on buying and selling privileges and account suspension. Examples include:

Selecting an inaccurate reason for return.

Disregarding item conditions required for return.

Requesting an excessive amount of returns.

The buyer's return reason is not accurate.

Returns, and buyer satisfaction, are subjective.

In a subjective world, eBay sides with the buyer.

Those are the functional terms, known to all. Letter of the law aside.

That makes no sense. The terms are known to all, but ebay would not be following those terms if they allow that return. The writing on the card is clearly visible in the auction photo. If that card can be returned, then every ebay item could be returned.

The writing is clearly visible *in your opinion*.

    Which makes it subjective.

And, yes, the logical conclusion of all of this is that every item can be returned. That is the eBay world we know and do not love.

    Glad you agree.

(Don't accuse me of changing your post. It's subjective, and it would just be your opinion that I changed it. lol.)

The card doesn't exist. It's just your opinion that it does.

    Unfortunately, you've missed the point.

It's not that I agree with the buyer. I see what you see.

eBay, on the other hand, does not. Their record on returns and SNAD is very clear and widely known. Anyone who chooses to sell there should be well aware that "the card does not exist". At least in their view.

Anything else is an exercise in futility.

Ebay does not always side with the buyer, despite what you may have heard.
