1806 Bust Quarter - Browning 8

Coin22lover posted about wanting confirmation if his coin was indeed an 1806 Browning-8 variety along with other information. Now he has removed the title of the original thread and edited out almost all of his posts. Why have almost all of his posts been edited out, and all of the pictures been removed?

Maybe because he didn't want the seller to find out he left a lot of money on the table if it was the rare variety? Maybe you could send him a message and ask him why. I'd be excited and want to share, but personally, I'd rather keep cherrypicks to myself for a few reasons.

Personally I would like to see more win/win stories, fewer "better luck next time..." results. Attribution can cost time and money but is sometimes necessary and the submitter is actually supposed to do the research and put the attribution on the forms. The potential numbers of lessons in this business are almost infinite, by the time you don't get the wool pulled over you, you're ready for the "box".



Many top collectors have very high IQs and could be working in a research firm.

Thanks. My brain does not work the same as you guys. I literally don't see it. I would guess 99% of people wouldn't see it.



I wonder if that is why some people collect modern 70's and don't collect Vintage coins. I can see that a 70 is better than a 69 or a 68, I can't see subtle attributions.
