Can anyone tell me more about this? CSA token

Hey everyone,
I was in my local coin shop today and saw this 1861 CSA token, I haven't ran across one before and couldn't seem to find much for information or value. The dealer didn't either so he didn't have it priced until he could find out more. Does any know any history of it or the value? These are the best pictures of it I have.
Thanks!

What time frame is considered modern?

Most probably during the observation of the Centennial Anniversary of the Civil War.

But to me it looks like a genuine (but corroded) Scott Confederate token circa 1880.
In that condition is worth perhaps $500 (assuming it is genuine).
