How do your store your mid range packs?

I have a fair amount of ungraded packs in the $50-$200 range which are predominantly mid 70s. I think most are in team bags with backloaders.

What then do you do with them? ie Stack them vertically/Stack them horizontally? I haven't found a good system especially b/c with the backloaders they are sized different than say putting them in a wax box. What do you find most helpful also to minimize the risk of gum and corner pokes?

Thanks!

Team bags and top loaders are the way to go... I then store mine in monster boxes. Have about 4 monster boxes full of packs, mixes of higher dollar packs in bags/top loaders and cheaper wax/cellos just sitting in there loose.

There's no good answer to this question. Your only hope is to open them and post results here.

Mine are all stored with the wax wrapper laid out flat and a pile of cards and loose gum nearby with the hits in CS1s and the rest ready for a 800ct box.

just to clarify, so you stand them up vertically?

Plano bait and tackle boxes make terrific storage boxes for packs. You can stack them upright and usually get at least 20 packs in a box. I put the packs in team bags and top loaders first before putting them in the box. The Plano boxes are about $10 each.

Curious; what size top loader are you using to store packs? Some of my packs are pretty thick. I understand the team bag.

The pack doesn't go in the toploader. The toploader just gives a little extra rigidity inside the team bag. Like a comic backer

Yep, standing up vertically. I have one box where its kind of tight, but the ones I have them in I can actually flip through them like cards... so brand may make a slight difference in the width of the rows. But even the one box that's tight, it's tight on the top loader (not the pack)... and it fits, there's just not movement we you can flip through them.

wax pack and smaller cello packs I use the 25 count 2-piece ultra pro boxes. For longer packs (1994 topps and newer for example) I do the teambag with a toploader for extra rigidity. I then just put them all in those cardboard storage boxes that are tall enough for PSA graded cards. Cheap...effective...but boring to look at.

Not all bad though....if I was actually looking at them everyday I probably wouldn't have any unopened at all! haha

Thanks for some great ideas, anybody have a good one for rack packs? I put 2 CS1's together, top to top to make a longer backer like a comic book, then slide into a comic bag, fold a couple of times and then something like this, but would like a cleaner and simpler solution. I have to fold the tab over, wonder what brand of cases BBC Exchange uses for their rack packs. Also thinking some sort of shrink wrap option if possible.
