If I don't buy one will that make me a racist?

Only a racist would have to ask.

    That is poignant, Azure!

Only if you have the set in your cart for 6 months! 100,000 X 1600= 160 million dollars. Different then the 4 mil you could have locked up all the congrats sets!

    Price increase to $1690.

    This certainly won't help sales...

Dismal sales in comparison to the 2009 UHR. Of course gold was a lot cheaper back then too. Paying from $1140 back then to $1690 for the same ounce of gold. Ouch. You could buy the 2009 UHR now for around the same price as this new liberty.

When did this happen? (I haven't been paying attention.)

    Latest sales stand at 55,199.

I'm really tempted from time to time to buy this thing. I look at that Eagle and I can only say WOW that's classic.

Then I look at that obverse and ............ gotta run to the throne and bow down. Uggggg .... can't do it. Can't have that monsta in my stash.

I totally expect this Artfully Classic Coin to be cut short by the Mint really soon. If nothing else they need it to achieve a high aftermarket value. Would it? Or is this another Boys Town in progress? Personally I like the numbers but No Way can I bring myself to buy this thing. It's like buying a Eunice Shriver , in Gold.
