EBay shipping to China?

Anyone have much experience shipping to China outside the global shipping program? I tend to stick with the GSP except for Canada, just because it's safer, but the GSP doesn't do combined shipping and I have a potential customer in China wanting to buy several boxes and the GSP cost is crazy high. Just looking for your experiences, good or bad.
