Looks like Allen Iverson will be traded for Jamison and the 3rd overall pick in the draft. Do you think it would be a good trade for Philly? I know it would be great for Golden State.

Lol, you must of heard that from Vescey at the half time report. Did you also get the part where he talked to Billy King the 76ers GM and he said that there is no way Iverson or Larry Brown are leaving.

He also said the trade of Elton Brand would never happen and a few others. I don't trust a thing he says. I believe Iverson is as good as gone.

if they trade ai to golden state that would be a stupid mistake cause antwan and even close to as good s allen iverson and whoo is to say the person they pick with 3rd pick would be good in the nba.

I don't trust any NBA GM. They will say one thing and do another. With AI I believe his lastest exploits cost him big. Jamison is a good possibly great player. Couple of 50 point performances this year. A draft pick is always risky. I think it would be with one more player from GS or a additional draft pick.

never happen, Without even mentioning AI's or Jamison's palying ability..You have to look at it for what it's worth..That trade talk happens every time Larry Brown and AI have a public spat...Now look at it from 76'ers owners/management sense..Philly fans love AI, They sell out nearly every home game, That being said they don't buy tickets to watch Larry brown coach...Like thier past spats this one will fade away as well, But if it ever came down to someone leaving I think Philly would show Larry brown the door first..It's about $..


I do think AI should sacrifice a bit in salary so that Philly could free up cap room to sign some better talent..Jordan did that with the Bulls for several years..

It is about $$$ and that is why they will not get rid of Coach Brown. He is one of the best coaches in NBA history. Without him Iverson would run wild and probably take 70 shots a night. Iverson has the heart and the talant but not the smarts just yet.

Some people think Iverson is overrated and I think right now he is. His potential talant is not overrated though. He could be one of the best. Oh and selling out is not because of Iverson it is because of winning and that would not happen with Brown gone.

Yeah I agree I dug Brown when he coached here in Indiana...I'm just saying Coaches dont sell out arenas..It's the player(s) that bring in the $...

But players can't do it if they don't have the coach directing them. A losing team does not draw the crowds.
