Will the technology in the new Apple I phone 7 greatly improve coin picture taking?
I manage money. I earn money. I save money .
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
I give away money. I collect money.
I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.

If you're referring to the dual lenses, this could be used to take stereo photos of coins, which can give you a much better look at the depth and luster than a single picture, provided you have the means to view it. There are other computational photography tricks that use the dual lenses that I don't see being beneficial for coins.

Yes I was referring to the dual lenses.
But what do you mean provided one has the means to view it?

You have to have a stereo image viewer like Google Cardboard (watch Apple use its forward-facing camera to detect it and block its use), a 3D display, or display images side by side and cross your eyes.

I don't know that the new cameras will work in that way. They are different focal lengths.
